Mickie Mueller has been working as a freelance artist since 1983. She is a Co-High Priestess of Coven of the Greenwood, and ordained Pagan Minister, and has been a Reiki healing master/teacher in the Usui Shiki Royoho tradition since 2001. Mickie writes and presents lectures and workshops on topics of art and spirituality. She is a proud member of M.A.F.I.A. (Missouri Area Fantasy Illustrators Assoc.) Her award winning artwork has appeared in the St. Peters Cultural Arts Center, The Garrett Gallery, and The St. Charles Artist Guild. Mickie is a former Vice President of the St. Charles Artist Guild and has served as Chairperson of several shows.
Mickie is the illustrator of two divination decks, the critically acclaimed, "The Well Worn Path" and "The Hidden Path." She is also a regular article contributor to Llewellyns Magical Almanac, and the upcoming Spell-A-Day Almanac 2009. and has also published articles in Wicca and Witchcraft Magazine in the U.K. as well as Witchvox and several other online publications. Her artist website has also received praise from the Wiccan Pagan Times webzine. Mickie periodically does interior book illustrations for Llewellyn as well.
Mickie’s art has been seen internationally on the covers of Witchcraft and Wicca, Raven’s Call, Spirit Seeker, and Oracle 200 to name a few. Her ever-growing line of products featuring her artwork has included sterling silver jewelry from Peter Stone this year.
Mickie is now working as a Graphic Designer creating packaging and point-of purchase displays for an award winning display company. She is also working hard writing and illustrating a new project yet to be announced. Mickie currently resides in Missouri with her beloved husband Dan and two children 9 year old son, 19 year old daughter who is a college student studying education and art. Her oldest daughter who is engaged to be married, resides in her own home nearby, and is the co-owner along with her fiancé of the growing costumer Snapdragon Designs.

" I grew up beneath the great mountains and the desert sky of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They aptly call it "The Land of Enchantment." In my late teens, I moved to the green rolling hills of Missouri were I now live. I began working as a freelance artist early on, my work appearing in newspaper ads, and CD/cassette covers for local bands. I even worked for awhile as a computer colorist for comic book companies like Marvel, D.C. and Dark Horse to name a few. During these years, I often had ideas for art that I wanted to create that was different than what I was working on at the time. I knew in my heart that I wanted to create artwork that was spiritual, that would touch peoples lives in some way. I wasn't sure where to begin...sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees.
And then I decided to make my dreams reality, drawing upon the magick that I grew up with, singing to inchworms with my mother and watching nature create miracles in the sun and under the moon. My spiritual path has evolved along with my artistic works as if the two were intertwined. It has been a journey of the soul and a most fulfilling experience. The works I have presented here represent that journey of the past 1
